Get ready for an action-packed day of competition at Battle of the Beast: Odyssey Showdown, our upcoming interschool tournament hosted at our Sarasota location on March 7, 2026. Students from both locations are invited to compete, challenge themselves, and showcase their skills in an exciting tournament atmosphere.

Competitors will have the opportunity to participate in forms, weapons, combat sparring, traditional sparring, creative forms, creative weapons, XMA forms, XMA weapons, and board breaking.

🔥 Board breaking is one of the most anticipated events of the day, giving students the chance to sign up to break two real wooden boards, demonstrating power, focus, and confidence on the mat.

Whether you’re stepping onto the mat for the first time or aiming to dominate your division, Battle of the Beast: Odyssey Showdown is your chance to push your limits, represent your school, and make unforgettable memories.

Join us for a sweet night of support at Rita’s Italian Ice on Clark Road! Stop by between 6:00–8:00 PM to enjoy your favorite frozen treats while giving back to our team. 50% of all sales during the event will be donated to the instructor fund, helping support our journey to Worlds and cheering on Mrs. Bairos as she works toward becoming a Master.

We’ve made a few adjustments to our May testing week! After reviewing the schedule, we decided to switch the dates for Tiger Testing and Advanced Belt Testing. These changes will also be announced at this week’s testing sessions.

Here’s the updated testing schedule:

• Tuesday: Open Floor 4:30–5:15 | Basic 6:00 | Intermediate 7:15

• Wednesday: Open Floor 4:30–5:15 | Advanced 6:00

• Thursday: Tigers White–Orange 5:30 | Tigers Yellow & Higher 6:30

• Friday: Black Belt Testing 5:45
